Who we are

Consulting, measurement, and staffing in the same house.

AMI provides consulting, M&E services, staffing, technical experts, capacity building and training services to the public and private sector. Our services provide clear actionable results that help organizations make data driven decisions and improve their performance and impact.

AMI is a certified Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), HubZone, management-consulting firm that creates, executes, and provides practical 21st century solutions to the federal government, nonprofits, humanitarian aid organizations and private voluntary organizations globally.

Global Alliances is the nonprofit under AMI — a separate house for community-facing help that sits inside the same organization.

From its earliest days as a start-up in 2007, AMI has maintained a presence in or near Washington, D.C. Our founder office was a tiny establishment near Dupont Circle. Today, our office in Farragut North is home to our U.S. operation, with additional offices in Abuja, Rome, Tashkent, and Cairo.

Values

How the house is supposed to work.

Innovation | Entrepreneurial

Be flexible and open-minded. Take initiative and introduce new ideas. Translate ideas to actions quickly. Accelerate change and be part of the change.

Integrity | Trust one another

Be transparent (open door, open book). Do the right thing. Honor commitments and be accountable. Empower others to take action and make decisions.

Opportunity | Think big

Be versatile. Continue to learn and develop self. Mentor and develop others. Take chances on people and partners.

Caring | Serving others

Democratic change requires more than an election or single event to become sustainable. We serve institutions and communities with that long view in mind.

Excellence | Exceed expectations

Provide dedicated customer service. Master skills and focus on details. Solve problems, admit mistakes, learn and move on. Set high standards and deliver quality results.
