Africa

Nigeria is Africa’s most populous nation and largest economy, a country of almost unimaginable promise. But like many emerging nations it faces the development challenges that come with industrialization and growth. With an office in Abuja, our extensive in-country team works with public and private sector clients to realize Nigeria’s extraordinary potential.

European Union

The European Union (EU) is the world’s largest development donor. AMI, with its long-term presence on the European continent and key relationships in the implementation of the EU global strategy for international development and cooperation. As an EU contractor, we seek to build synergies between EU policies to the benefit of partner countries.

Central Asia

Beginning in 2001 after the collapse of the Soviet Union, AMI principals began work in Europe and Eurasia, partnering with local governments and institutions to promote strong business environments, good governance practices, and sustainable education programs for adults and children. The bedrock of our work in the region is lasting local partnerships that will continue to serve the needs of local citizens long after projects close. Our Europe and Eurasia portfolio is managed by one regional business unit.

Middle East/North Africa

The main headquarters are located in Cairo, Egypt as of 2024. The country boasts strong connections with the US.Our Cairo headquarters serves as a pivotal hub for our operations in North Africa and the Middle East. Our North Africa and Middle East operations are strategically managed from this central location, allowing us to efficiently coordinate and execute projects across the region.
